In the school there is a strong emphasis on parents taking responsibility for their children’s education, and parental involvement is the key to the smooth running and success of the school.
Most of the teaching is done by parents, generously supported by gifted friends who help on a voluntary basis. The school runs on the principle of co-operation, which depends upon mutual trust and commitment to one another. It requires a laying down of our lives for one another to serve the vision of offering our children a Christ-centred education within a Biblical framework.
The challenge for us as parents is to win the hearts and minds of our children. We seek to do this by the sacrificial giving of ourselves and by providing a God-honouring environment. This way we hope we will capture the “second generation” for Jesus Christ. Attending a Christian school is no guarantee for the future, but we are moving in faith.
“Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)
