Admissions Process

We are delighted that you are considering The Vine Christian School for your children. The admissions process is designed to take you through our process step by step and to provide all the necessary information you need to ensure you have the peace of mind that you fully understand the process.

Registration

If, following your visit you feel that The Vine Christian School is the right school for your child, the next stage in the admissions process is to complete and return our Registration Form.

Interview

Once you have registered, you will be invited to attend an interview with the Head and members of the governing body. This allows us to get to know each other and will inform our decision to offer a place.

Offer of a place and acceptance

Following a successful interview, you will receive a formal offer of a place and an admissions form to complete the process of enrolling your child. At this stage a deposit of £450 per child becomes payable. This deposit is not refundable if you do not subsequently take up the place at the school, otherwise it is returned when your child leaves the school having first been set against any unpaid fees, fees of a term’s notice, and any charges.

Assessment

Entrance is not based on IQ, achievement, or ability, however once a student has been accepted to the school, we will carry out a set of assessments to enable us to start them off at the exact stage of learning appropriate to their needs.

Entry Points

Students are welcome to join at any point provided there is space in the appropriate class. We aim to make the school as accessible as possible to all students, regardless of their age, gender, ethnicity, attainment or background.
